Marriage is better

Sorry about missing out on Fantastic Fridays. I was not feeling well
at all yesterday morning and then we had to prepare for a garage sale.
However, you do have a Maniacal Monday to look forward to.

I was reading an article in Kiplingers and came across some
interesting facts that perfectly illustrate the power and beauty that
God placed in marriage:

“A male who reaches age 65 has a one-in-two chance of
living beyond age 85 and a one-in-four chance of living beyond 92 …
And get this: For a couple reaching 65, either husband or wife have a
one-in-two chance of living beyond 92 and a one-in-four chance of
living beyond 97.” (July 2007, pg. 24)

Honey, I hope you picked the right man. I am pushing for 95 at least!

  1. Ah, but you overlook something. It’s not the individual with the improved statistics, but just one member of a couple. That’s really not too far separated from the other, and besides, common sense tells one that this can’t be, because after all, marriage is the path with the most stress :p.
